2022 Royal Tudor Beasts Lion of England 1/4oz Gold Coin NGC MS68
The 2022 Royal Tudor Beasts Lion of England 1/4oz Gold Coin launched the bullion arm of The Royal Mint’s Royal Tudor Beasts collection.
Inspired by the ten heraldic beasts that line the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace, the collection explores the royal ancestry and heraldic symbolism associated with Henry VIII and his third wife, Jane Seymour. The ten beasts represent the lineage of the Tudor monarch and his queen.
For the first bullion release, The Royal Mint selected the Lion of England, describing it as the first bullion coin in the new Royal Tudor Beasts collection.
